PROBABLE DATE FOR KENTUCKY DERBY. Louisville. Ky.. February LI.— Although the Stat. Racing Commission has not yet formally granted dates, it is assured the Kentucky Derby will be run at Churchill Downs May _•. and Louisville will get at least an eighteen day meeting. Colonel Matt J. Winn, vice-president ami general manager of the local track, said today: "The Xew Louisville Jockey Club open, d certain stake events, among them the Kentucky l»crhy aud the Kentucky Oaks, over a year ago. These events were liberally subscribed to by the leading breeders of the land and these stakes events will be run at Churchill Diwns. The Xew Louisville Jockey Club intends to comply vilh the law in every rcs|»ct. Xo statenieut has as yet been made about betting at that track, but if it be against the law there will be no betting.
