Catherine F., shulfled to the rear, made up much ground. Annie H. was goin : Tast at the end. Exchequer quit badly after going Hie first half and so did Jockey Mounce. Bill Eaton, from a ■ low start, ran in close quarters and improved his position moderately well. Matehtulla closed a gap. .1. W. ineror, forced back early, hud scant chance and is a stayer. Miss Officious gradually fell back in the first half, then closed up steadily at the end and is very good. Doliie Dollars was never really dangerous, but was well up throughout.
