Phil Igoe suffered from crowding at the start ajid closed an immense gap in a cyclonic stretch rush, taking second place in the last stride. Triumphant, from a striding start, was outpaced early, but made up ground rapidly in the middle running and tired finally. Prestige, prominent for half the journey, dropped back, but CUM :gain at the end. Duke of Orleans was a prominent contender for five furlongs. Nappa was outclass, j in such stiff going. Woodlander, after being a keen contender to the last sixteenth, tired as if short. Cull Holland, a superb looker, showed 11 high eider of early speed, but tired. Vaijean disliked the going and seemed unable to stride freely in it, but is a grand looker. Blameless failed to stay after showing brilliant early speed. Scratched— 7.".07fiOn Parole. Taunt broke slowly, was outpaced all the way and ran a bad race. Belimence ran lapped on the pacemaker for six furlongs, then tired. Lone Wolf finished well up.
