March 11. — The entries to the stakes offered by the Latonia Jockey Club for its spring meeting have closed with a total for the ten events of 025 nominations, which is considerably • less than last year, although the number of nominators is larger. The stakes and the number bf entries are: Latonia Derby, 23; Latonia Oaks, 30; ! Fleischmann Trophy. 101; Merchants Handicap, 89; Decoration Handicap, 59: Harold Stakes, 101; : Brewers Handicap. -59: Cincinnati Hotel Handicap. 54; Clipsetta Stakes. 80. and the Kentucky Steeplechase. • 23. There was a meeting of the officials of the Latonia Jockey Club held in this city last night, but I no official action was taken.
