CORRIGAN INSPECTS NEWLY ARRIVED FOALS. Lexington, Ky., March 11. — Edward Corrigan arrived at noon today from Chicago and will journey on to New Orleans tomorrow night. The purpose . of his visit, the first in about two months, is to i inspect his farm and his horses. "The health of the horses at the farm is exceedingly good." he said after spending the afternoon i in fiding over the place with superintendent Pat Gilfoyle. "There isnt a sick one among them and 1 th" mares, many of which have not had a bit of grain all winter, are iu, superb condition. I have . ten or eleven foals and they are a good-looking lot. Early in the season I had seven mares to slip, but all of the foals that have arrived on time have . lived." Tomorrow Mr. Corrigan will visit the horses he . has in training at the local track in charge of trainer Dave Peel. They are for the greater part . untried two-year-olds, but judging from their general appearance, there should be more than one , good racer among them. John E. Madden has gone to Benning to see the horses he has in training at the Washington track. Purity dam of J. C. Core, foaled a chestnut colt by Adam at Millstrcam Stud Sunday night and I last night Duenna dropped a filly by Disguise and 1 Content a colt by Voter at the same farm. The first of the get of Yorkshire Lad was born ! at McGrathiana Stud last night. It is a bay colt out of Flycatcher and likewise the first foal of the , dam. Arragon dam of Lucy Young, foaled a bay filly by Cesarion last night.
