Intervene was restrained to the last furlong, where he came away with a rush under mild urging. Simeoe. speedy and away fast, showed the most ■peed for three furlongs, but tired slightly in the closing strides. Iocotaligo had no mishaps and ran well all the way. All Red also had no mishaps and quit badly in the final drive. Guy Fisher began slowly and can do much better. Tyler run a gixid race and had to overcome much interference. Ben Trovato broke from an outside position and was forced to go wide all the way. but stood a hard , drive gamely after taking the lead and outstayed Allonby in the closing drive. Allonby closed an early J gaii quickly into game and close pursuit of the winner, but finished tiring. Rose of Pink had a rough I early trip, but closed a big gap and was going fast at the end. Vohoome, showing improvement, ran a good race and would have been third at a longer distance. Gracchus made up much ground. McAllister had a rough trip. Braden showed speed and tired after going a good half. Denigre suffered from much j earlv interference. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Lord Dixon line from a long way back in the stretch after overcoming interference. Quagga was away slowly and closed ■ big gap in the stretch run. Daring tired after showing speed for a Jialf. Marsh Redon was going fast at the end. Cablegram showed early speed, but quit after going a half. Jack Bratton showed a brief flash of early speed. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Donna was in a pocket for a half and was forced to go wide into the stretch, finished gamely and probably was best. Green Seal, away tOowly. had to be hard ridden for the first quarter to hold the lead, then drew away, but tired unexpectedly in the stretch. Plantland ran fairly well and will show improvement. Belle Scott was shuffled back on the first turn and ran a poor race.
