Shilling, at Santa Anita Park, gained first place from YYalter Miller in tlie ranks of the thirty leaders last week, having ridden thirteen winners, and increasing his percentage two points, making a total of forty-nine winners piloted by him since February 10. Notter. at New Orleans, was home in front nine times, while the lightweight, Clifford Gttbert, riding at Oakland, averaged a winner a day for the six days.
