Huldy closed a big gap and finished with ■ rush. Trapne ran a good quarter, but quit badly in the stretch. Cheek was going fast at the end. Takahira went well and will improve. The latter outbroke the others and showed much the most early speed, but tired and was driving to the limit at the end to save second place. Glaucus ran well and finished resolulely in a long stretch drive. Shackle quit. The others were never contenders. The winner was entered for 00: no bid.
