YOUNGS SALE FIXED FOR OCTOBER Lexington Ky September 12 Milton Young this afternoon decided upon October 27 28 and 20 aa dates for the absolute disposal of the McGrathiana Stud and closed u contract with the FasigTInton Company to conduct the sale of 500 horses and 1293 acres of land 243 acres of which represents that portion of the McGrathiana farm not sold to Beasley Bros 1050 acres being in a tract on Tatea Creek road This will be the largest public sale of land and stock ever held in Kentucky by one man Tha stallions to go under the hammer are Cesarion Sem pronlus Woolsthorpe Yorkshire Lad Lackford Sor ¬ cerer and Monsieur do LOrtne The mares number 300 and there are nearly 200 weanlings Among the mares are thirtyfive daughters of Hanover and out of them are thirtythree weanlings by Cesarion This sale of horses will be held In a large tent on the McGrathiana farm with William Easton as auc ¬ tioneer It will be an oldfashioned sale Colonel Young will have luncheon for 1500 people with burgoo and barbacued meats also mint juleps by the barrel
