READY FOR RACING AT DOUGLAS PARK Louisville Ky September 12 Under the direc ¬ tion of Manager Matt J Winn the Douglas Park track Is being rapidly prepared for the opening of rac ng September 28 Installation of twelve inu tuel machines is one important detail Six of the twelve will be for the sale and registration of 3 tickets the others being devoted to 2 tickets Auctions will also be sold At soldAt the last Douglas Park meeting threequarters of a mile races were over the regular mile track but since then a chute lias been added and at the com ¬ ing meeting such races will bo from this chute which eliminates all but one turn and conduces to safety ridersThe of horses and their riders The Kentucky State Fair begins Tiere Monday and will continue for six days The program of the speed department provides for threo runuing races eaeli day as well as for three trotting or pacing contests J W Ittiss of the New Louisville Jockey Club will act as clerk of the course
