MICHIGAN TRACK WORK GOING ON The work of preparing the ground for the track bed and buildings of the new race track of the Michigan Breeders Association at New Buffalo Mich is going on well and construction work will be well under way the comine week 13 J Camp is in the east on business for the new association Construction contracts will be closed in Chicago within a few days All the workmen that can bo secured are at work at New Buffalo Eastern ad ¬ vices declare that T D Sullivan the Tammany politician and racing man will control the Michigan organization organizationA A meeting of those Interested will be held in Chi ¬ cago within a few days On account of the great amount of work to be done the race meeting will hardly begin October 1 Horsemen in the eastern centers have been told that the newArack will be opened October 17 V All announcements so far as totthe racii cials are guesses None has been appointed
