MANY ENTRIES TO 1910 GRAND PRIX. Three hundred and eighty-eight engagements have been made in France for the Grand Prix of 1910. and a further 134 by foreign owners. Among breeders domiciled in France. W. K. Vanderbilt has proved the most extensive patron of the International race, for which, since the increase of the added money, he has already supplied one winner in Northeast. Baron Edouard de Rothschild comes next, and among the eighteen he has entered are three of the produce of Eryx, witll those of Le Samaritain. Son o Mine. Gallinule. Florizel II.. Saint Frusquin. Cyllene and Flying Lemur. Baron de Rothschild has made nlue entries, the same number as Baron Maurice de Rothschild, and sixteen have been nominated by M. Michel Ephrussi. Among the entries are eight contracted in the name of Herr von Szemere. the Hungarian siiortsman. and a couple from the Nioderrad stable, a son of Zinfandel and another colt by Florizel II.. destine! to carry the colors of Messrs. von Weinberg. One of the most Iilieral among the subscribers outside of France has been Count Scheibler, who possesses ten nominations against the half-dozen claimed by the owner of Spearmint, including a son of Flying Fox out of Gallinaria. Baron Gourgaud. who is one of the more recent natrons of the turf, has evidently made up his mind to increase the amount of patronage he has bestowed on the king of sports by entering eleven of his yearlings, and Prince Ladislas Lubomirski has nominated Ksiaze Pan, by Sao a Papier out of Tempete, as his representative for the honor of Russia.
