AN OUTSIDERS CAMBRIDGESHIRE. London, Eng., October 2S. At the Newmarket Houghton iMeetlng today the Cambridgeshire Handicap, the chief event of the meeting, was won by the Duke of Devonshires five-year-old chestnut horse, Marcovll. by Marco Lady Vllliklns. Captain J. R. Homfreys five-year-old horse. Land League, by Desmond Combine, was second and Captain Kinkald Smiths live-vear-old hay gelding. Succour, by Suc-coth Lady Gough. third. Marcovll was an extreme outsider, at 50 to 1. while Cock Sure, with D. Haher up, was a hot favorite.
