Cassatt in the race won by Celt at Belmont Park Thursdav. is a son of The Bard, which horse won so many races for the late Mr. Cassatt. He is a compactly made bav colt, of smooth action, and will win when pron-erlv placed. Simon Ilea ley. his" trainer, was averse to sending Choirmaster out against Celt, but Captain E. B. Caaaatt. V. S. A., was at the track and he wanted I" se.- the colt run. Captain Cassatt has tive good-looking home bred horses in Healers charge at Shecpshcad Bay. Captain Cassatt has a flnelv equipped thoroughbred stud in Pennsylvania and he intends to keep on breeding in a moderate war. He takes particular interest in steeplechasing and is a famous rider.
