MILLERS FRIENDS BECOMING APPREHENSIVE New York. June 28.— The fact that up to the present time Jockey Walter Miller has not been granted a license to ride in England has caused some apple heiision among his friends. It is believed that the license committee of the English Jockey Club has not acted favorably on his application because of his trouble in California. It is mid that Miller went abroad with strong credentials from persons of btandiiig ou the turf and iu the busiucss world.
