PADUCAH DATES APPLIED FOR. Cincinnati. O.. June 2.S.— Harry White, manager and societaiy of the Paducali race meeting, circulated among the horsemen at Latonia this aiternoon distributing program laM.ks and explaining to them concerning the or unsold racing at Paducah that will otMii July S and continue until July 11. During the afternoon lie filed with Secretary Rouse of the Kentucky Racing Commission an application for the dates desired. Secretary Rouse stated that he would notify the inemlM-rs of the commission to meet on Friday next to pass on the application. Mr. bite announced tluit Frank J. Brvan would be the presiding judge and thtit James Milton would do tin- starting. Mr. White predicted that the meeting will be a success and averred that most of the merchants in the surrounding towns as well as those of Paducah are strongly in favor of the racing. A number of horsemen racing here have signified their intentions of shipping to the Kentucky river town. The track can accommodate only 250 horsis. and the limit number probably will be on hand for the opening.
