CELT GETTING WORK FOR SPEED. New York. June "0. It may be that Celt will not rtart again before the Sam toga meeting. The big Commando colt has been under cover since the Brooklyn, after which lie became slightly lame. Recently James Rowe has been content to breeze the horse halves in SO seconds or thereabouts. Such work is calculated to restore the sneed which Rowe seems to think Celt lacked In the Brooklyn notwithstanding he kept pretty close to tho furious pace cut out by Restigouche. But halves In 50 will not lit a horse like Celt to race one mile and a quarter with the smartest runners of the mature division in the Commonwealth Handicap, the next important race :it Sheepshead Bay. and the hard going at Yonkers may keep him from starting at that meeting out of consideration for his troublesome leg.
