Western Lady was unprepared for a start and was practically left at the post, closed a big gap and hadto lie hard ridden to outstay Bedminster. The latter had no mishaps. The latter came from a long way back in the last quarter. Argonaut was taken wide most of the way. Duke of Milan,- away poorly and taken wide most of the way, ran a good race. Tarinie ran fairly well.. Beatrice K. showed speed; but tired and quit after going-a half. Chalice was caught in a jam and almost thrown. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Ceremonius saved:fcround for the entire trip and led on the turn, but succumbed in the last furlong. Giles, away poorly and taken wide for the entire trip, ran a good race. Thomas Calhoun retired after going a fast three-quarters. Minnie Bright set the pace for a half and tired. Tom Holland was practically left at the post.
