Taboo ran well up and gamely throughout. Tasley ran forwardly for a half mile and retired. Student King ran Torwardly throughout, though greatly outclassed by the winner. Meno, always beaten off, fell, but was remounted and finished third. Selectus. fell at the end of a mile and a half when a sure second, is very fast and a good jumper, but a pronounced non-stayer. Grace Cameron retired early. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Stoiypin followed the leaders closely for half of the journey, but was crowded out on the rar turn and pocketed for the first furlong in the stretch, then finished resolutely under an inadequate ride. Queens Song, outpaced early, closed up rapidly in the last half Into a game third. Odd Rose, slow at the start and plastered witli mud while in the rear, closed a big gap In the stretch. Marlgot, outrun early and sluiiiled rearward, made up much ground in the last three furlongs. St. Deiniol showed superior speed for the first half mile and quit badly.
