FUTURITY DAY PATRONAGE PLEASING. New York. September 1. After the receipts of .Mondays racing at Sheepshead Bay were counted. President Schuyler -Parsons and Treasurer Thomas Hitchcock of the Coney Island Jockey Club declared that they were well pleased with the way the Fii-turitv had taken. The class of the crowd was especially pleasing to Mr. Parsons. "I am delighted." he said, "to see so many line people at our races. It indicates that the patrons of the sport have regained confidence in the ability of the tracks operating under the authority of the Jockey Club to conduct first-class sport, in spile- of the adverse conditions with which we were confronted."
