HILDRETH GETS BARGAIN IN MOQUETTE. New Yorkv September 9. Twenty-one horses iu training, the property of Stephen Sauford and Sous of Amsterdam. N. Y., and a number of other racers belonging to various owners, were auctioned by the Fasig-Tiptou Company at the Slieepshead Bay paddocks before the races today. The Sanford lot brought a total of 3,800. an average per head of a tritle over . R. J. Mackenzie of Canada paid the highest price of the sale ,500 for Fort Johnson. Queens Song was considered well sold at ,800 to F. Fitzsimnions. That good race horse. Moquette, brought ,900. S. C. Hildreth secured him and was congratulated on getting the real bargain of tlie day. Fair Louise, another of W. J. Youngs turf stars, was sold to J. Fleming for ,800. Of R. F.
