Won easily: second and third driving. Spooner. luckily and forwardly placed from the start, drew out decisively midway of the stretch. Earls Court, from a flying start, made the running by a wide gap for rive furlongs, then tired and was a lucky second. Rubia Granda, practically left, closed an Immense gap to earn third place, displayed remarkable early speed, finished gamely and probably was best. Twilight Queen, away well, had a rough journey, was crowded out on both stretches and finished fast. County Fair, from a flatfooted start, was shuflled to last and trailed to the stretch, then came with a rush. Notasulga, well up for the first quarter, was clearly beaten at the end of three furlongs. Black Mary, away poorly, steadily improved her position. Desirous ran a bad race. My Gal, from a poor start, had a rough journey and made up much ground. Scarus, nearly left, closed a big gap in a cracking effort. Helen Carroll, prominent early, failed to stay. Zephyr showed superior early speed, is improved and likes this track. Glennadeane Was forced out of position repeatedly and easing up at the end and her race should be thrown out.
