F0RMFUL RESULTS AT JUAREZ. El Paso. Tex., February 1. Formful racing was in order at Juarez today, four of the public choices winning and the books losing heavily. The feature was an allowance race at seven-eighths, in which W. Walker furnished the winner in Planter, whose success was a great surprise inasmuch as he had been badly beaten in all of his previous starts here. Trainer II. McDaniel has taken King Rroomstick and an unnamed two-year-old old brother to Grapple to train for I. II. Wheatcroft. G. I. Rrazier sold Tom McGrath today to Garrity and Ihmlap. Speculation in the ring is increasing at such a promising rate that new books are going w daily, Mosc Newman being the most recent addition. E. !. Soule wired the management today from Oakland asking for throe stalls and said that it was his intention to book upon his arrival. Jockey McGee. on his return to the jockoys room after the running of the fourth race, fainted from excessive reducing and was compelled to cancel his remaining engagements for the day. The Peer, winner of the fifth race, was run nn to 00 by J. Pinks taff and was retained by owner Dunne. Jockey T. Rice, who has been forging to the front rank of the riders here, carried off the riding honors of the day by piloting three winners.
