DUST STORM MARS JUAREZ CLOSING. Round the World Scores an Exceedingly Easy Victory in the Second Running of the Juarez Derby. Kl Paso, Tex.. April 3. The second running of the Juarez Derby was provided yesterday by the management of the Jockey Club Juarez for the closing of Its second season of racing. Despite the appearance before, race time of one of the disagreeable dust storms for which this region is noted," the throng attending was of goodly proportions. Nu-nierus withdrawals from the Derby made that event a foregone conclusion for Round the World, which was made a prohibitive favorite. The race was hardly a contest. Round the World cantered in front for the entire distance and was eased up throughout the final furlong. The success of three favorites gave the public ait even break with the layers on the day. A telegram from II. I. Wilson notilied the horse-mtii here that a meeting would be held In Salt Lake City for forty days beginning May ."0 at a new track to be built at Lagoon Park, which is situated midway between Ogden and Salt Lake City. Domithilda aud Slcepland have been purchased at private sale by K. Schafer and will be raced on western tracks. Horsemen quartered here are shipping in various directions. The better class of horses wiil go to Kentucky and the remainder to the inter-inountaiu section, where meetings will be given at Ogden, Den-vex. Salt Lake City, Uutte, Auaconda, Helena aud other points.
