BELMONT JUVENILES GO ABROAD. New York. April 3. Aboard the Atlantic Transport lim-r Minneapolis.- which sailed yesterday for London, are tluee two-year-old colts owned by Aug- list Belmont. The youngsters were bred at the Nursery Stud in Kentucky, and are considered the stars of the juvenile division in the barn of the chairman of the Jockey Club. Golden Rock, chestnut colt bv Rocki Sand Fairy Gold; Black Rock, black colt bv Rock Sand Black Poplar, and Toggery, bay filly by Rock Sand Teas Over, are the youngsters selected from the collection trained by Louis Feustel at the course of the Westchester Racing Association. The trio are not only bred in the purple, but their trials last fall were decidedly creditable. Golden Rock; a half-brother to Fair Play, has been picked by several experienced horsetiien as a colt of high class. Black Rock has size, conformation nnd a resolute way of going. Toggery, a half-sister to Ort Wells, Dick Welles and .Security, showed promising trials. It is said that in the event of racing being resumed in New York in the near future .Mr. Belmont will recall the above horses and bring back to this country several other good horses now beariug the scarlet, maroon and black abroad. Footprint and Whist have been nominated to the Preakness Stakes, to le mi over the Maryland Jockey Clubs Pimlico track. They have had a lot of useful gallops in .he open for two weeks and will bo pointed for that event. . Mr. Belmont will race a stable of goodly proportions at Toronto. Montreal. Hamilton and Fort Krie in Canada this year. As in former days, the Nur-siry-brod horses will be liberally entered in stake events.
