KING OF YOLO, away forwardly. ran close up to the stretch, then wore ETHELDA down after going a half mile and won drawing clear. ETHELDA showed the most early speed and set a fast pace, but tired Mlghtly near the end of a game race. SEWELL closed a big gap and came fast in the last quarter. DAINTY DAME ran forwardly, but tired badly in the stretch. BUTTER BALL had a rough trip. UNION JACK had no mishaps. WAR JIG quit, as usual. Scratched 92039 Longridge, 100. , Overweights Dainty Dame. ALPINE eamo with a good rush through the last sixteenth. CLYDE T. showed speed, hut tired near the end. MAY IIOL-LAND and FOXCRAFT tired in the last furlong. MERIDIAN set a tcrntic pace, but was ridden with bad judgment and excessively used for the tirst half and tiring finally, may have been a trilie short. The latter ran well, but tired slightly near the end. SLIM PRINCESS was in a tangle at the start and had a rough trip BOOBY sulTered from interference.
