TRAINING GALLOPS AT WOODBINE. Toronto, Onr., May 10. The Woodstock Stables Detective worked a mile and a quarter in 2:11 this morning, the best trial over a considerable distance that has been seen at Woodbine this spring. The Meddler horse pulled up sound and will be useful in the cup races here. The last quarter was run in 25 seconds. Miss Martimas was the only Plater to work! She was sent a mile in 1:47 and pulled up a mile and an eighth in 2:00.
