GOOD HORSES FOR HUNT CLUB RACING. Baltimore, Md., August 21. The Maryland United Hunts committee lias no reason to complain of the way the horsemen regard the coming meeting, August 31, September 2 and 4. Pimlico is filling up with a class of thoroughbreds better than those previously seen at Hunt races, and from present indications over 200 horses will be on hand. Some of the recent arrivals comprised a carload from Belmont Park, headed by Charles Pfizers grand old jumper. Herculoid, looking fit and ready. AArith him came Rossliampton, which is said to have shown nn aptitude for the cross-country game for which his tine size and unmistakable quality seem to fit him. The Hermence mare. Rose F.. belonging to S. L. Josephthal, was also in the consignment. - A trio that attracted attention was Brendan, Nosegay and Faultless, the property of Henry AA AAar-r.er. This is the first time Mr. AVamers colors, rink, green sash and sleeves, have been seen at Pimlico. The string of R. W. AAalden, consisting of eleven, mostly two-year-olds, arrived on Friday, and Dr. Tyree will ship his entire lot of fourteen direct to Pimlico from Hamilton. In addition to the above Silas Aeitch will bring six jumpers from Belmont Park, John Hynes twelve, James McLaughlin five. Lieutenant Charles K. Rockwell six belonging to himself and other otlicers of the United States Army. William Keating two. O. F. Sweeney two. AAliIp Top and Black Chief, and Steve Billings the two-year-old Hermis colt. Little Red. J. Merryman Black, an amateur rider, -has five at the track, including a likely looking three-year-old chestnut gelding by the Californhibrod Formaster Brutus Forma, out of the old steeplechaser. Deval. that will be schooled for jumping. The officers for the meeting will include AAlllIani P. RIggs, presiding judge; Frank J. Bryan, clerk of the course; Elmer AAilson, starter; Charles K.
