After tlie auction sale of the Hildroth stable had been declared off at Sheepshead Bay yesterday, Mr. Hildreth sold several of his horses privately. Joseph E. Davis purchased Firestone and Royal Meteor. Firestone will be schooled through the field. The Welkin was sold to Kal Parr for ,000 and Mr. Parr also bought Burly for ,000.
