ANACONDA RACING TO END TODAY. Biggest Crowd of the Meeting in Attendance Yes terday Horses Off for Coeur dAlene. Anaconda. Mont.. September S. Today was Commercial day here, the stores closing out of compliment to the Deer Lodge County Fair Association, which brought out tlie largest attendance of the meeting. Tlie crowd largely exceeded the big throng of Labor Bay. Tlie feature race of the afternoon at one and one-eighth miles attracted a small field of stayers, among which Miami found the greatest favor among those speculatively inclined and closed the best-lacked of any in tlie race. Stonenian. which despite his well-known liking for the distance and going, was overlooked by the majority and went Into a long lead at once ami, making every lost a winning one, easily disposed of Miami when that horse momentarily; challenged a sixteenth from the finish. Tho followers of fnvoriti were badly worsted, but one of their selections being returned winner. The exodus of horses to Coeur dAlene began today, many stables departing.
