COMMISSION WOULD APPOINT OFFICIALS. Lexington, Ky., November 27.-It has developed that one important step taken at the recent, meeting of the Kentucky State Racing Commission was omitted frcm the statement of that bodys deliberations as furnished to the press by Secretary Johnston. A resolution to the effect that the commission in the future appoint for service at the meetings on licensed race tracks in this state the presiding judge, starter, handicapper and veterinary, was introduced to lie over the required thirty days before action is taken. The rules, as at present constituted, delegate to the racing associations the right of appointment of all racing officials, but require approval by the commission.
