Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. ANN TILLY took the lead at once and, having disposed of PIKES PEAK in the first three-eighths, drew away to win as her rider pleased. CHARTIER, close up from the start, came fast through the stretch and finished gamely. PIKES PEAK raced well to the stretch and was tiring badly near the end. but outstayed EARL OF SAVOY for third place. The latter finished well, but is better over a longer distance. LACE was kept well up 111 the early running and, responding gamely to urging in the last eighth, drew eear ;in the last sixtcentli and won going away. RIGHTEASY ran well, but was much used in racing with ANCON for the first five-eighths and was tiring near the end. DICK DEADWOOD came with a rush through the stretch after making a slow beginning. HARCOURT dropped out of forward contention in the first half and closed a good gap in the stretch. TOM HANCOCK showed speed, but tired after going the first five-eighths. PLAIN ANN had no mishaps. WALDO BRIGGS was rushed into the lead at the start and showed the most speed for the entire race, but had to be ridden out through the stretch to outstay LINBROOK. The latter followed the winner in nearest pursuit throughout and only tired in the last eighth. SIR DENRAH raced sluggishly for three-quarters and came fast in the stretch. MASTER JIM tired after going well for three-quarters. NAPIER can do better. CLIFF TOP showed early Sliced. Overweights Sclmri. 14 pounds. -
