T USEFUL PLATERS THAT WON FOR GALLAHER BROS. t ! Selling platers, of which three, Flex, Rash and Grif, were good ones, made up the Gallaher string of 1013. In stable earnings there was a decided falling off from the record of 1912, when a total of 4,731 stood to the record of Gallaher Bros, at the end of the year. Flex was their best bread winner this vear and a downright good filly when at her best, being gifted with a high order of speed. Her sire, Inflexible, was a richly-bred horse and one of Hamburgs best sons. But for dying while still a young horse he might have made a great record in the stud. Rash was not far behind Flex in money won and, while not at all times to be relied on, could run a good race when iu the mood to do so. The stable earnings for the vear were: Horse. Col. and Sex. A.
