SIR MARTIN OUT OF THE LINCOLNSHIRE. Cable dispatches announce that Sir .Martin has been withdrawn from the Lincolnshire Handicap. Up to the latest advices by mail the good but exceedingly unlucky horse was doing as well in training as any horse engaged in the big Lincoln event, and was considered by competent critics to have a great chance of winning it. Ills forelegs have long been Inllrm and it is practically certain that a tendon gave way when he was asked to do full sced work in training. Still there is the chauce that his injury whatever it was that led to his retirement from tile Lincolnshire, may be so slight as to permit of Ids filling some of his later engagements.
