WELLKNOWN CHICAGO TURFMAN DIES John KiTiiock who at one time possessed an in ¬ terest in the Hawthorne race track and raced quito a number of Hat racers and steeplechasers died at his residence in this city Monday and will be buried todav at Calvary cemetery In the St Klaise horse St Krandon he owned a steeplechaser ami hurdle racer of high class in which he took great pride Others of his horses were good winners over local tracks His kindness and good nature served to make him a favorite with other owners He was also well known and successful locally as i business man and a politician The funeral services will be at St Thomas Aquinas church at l a m
