KING GEORGES PRESENT TWO-YEAR-OLDS. All these horses are looking extremely well, as are also the two-year-olds, which include six colts and three fillies, of which Neuve Chapelle stands out bv herself. She is a brown half-sister to Friar Marcus, by Sunstar. of good size and beautiful quality, with fine shoulders, a rare back and loins, and the best of legs and feet. Except, perhaps. that she is just a trifle straight in front, she is hard to fault, but her action is perfect and aha looks like taking high rank on the turf. Nicely turned and sharp in appearance is Pineta. a bay tilly by Spearmint out of Pintado, while the only bad feature aliout the filly by Tredennis out of Perm is that she is a mealy chestnut witli silver mane and tail. She is well grown, with plenty of scope and freedom and good legs: in short, quite a racing sort, as far as appearance goes. Difficult to fault is Llewellyn, a big. good looking chestnut son of Ban-Star and Prince see de Galles, with two white legs. One would, perhaps, prefer him bay or brown in color, but lie is a good, hard chestnut of fine quality, and possessed of tremendous power, with strong, easy action. A race horse all over, but with rather a suspicious looking eye and manner, somewhat sng-gestive of triekiness. sly looking also is the gelding — cut on that account— by St. Amant out cf Glad Tidings, a level sort of horse that promises to race, while Lucknow, by Minoru — Amphora, shows signs of going a great pace, and is one of the most promising of her dams produce. The old mare has 1/een destroyed owing to age. Alexander is a charming bright bay colt by Lemberg — Persepolis. witli two bright heels, beautifully turned and compactly built and sure to win races. He would be as nearly perfect as paaafbte if he had a little more scope. Strong and well coupled with sound-looking limbs is the colt by Demosthenes out of the veteran GoM Paste, while there are also a rather leggy gelding bv Marcovil — April Princess and a heavy-topped j gelding by gantry — Saints Mead, with faulty-looking : joints that may cause anxiety and trouble in training. Prom Childwickhury I learn that Doris, the dam 1 of Sunstar. foaled a good brown colt to Polymelus. This ought to be a race horse of character if breeding counts for anything. — "Vigilant" in London 1 Sportsman.
