RUBICON II. raced forwardly and was going fast at tlie end and would have been second in another stride. MILTON RORLKK had no mishaps. MATER was away ]morly and tired. FRISKY was practically left at the post. The winner, entered for 00. was bid up to 05 and bought in. JACK REEVES, much improved under good riding, gained steadily in the stretch and wore OSAPLE down near the end. OSAPLE, away forwardly, showed much speed and held on well in the final drive. STOUT HEART, much the best, was forced back after the start, but finished fastest of all. ROSE POINT, from a slow beginning, showed high speed in racing np into the lead and setting a fast pace, but tired. RED CROSS quit. CONFLAGRATION ran poorly. The winner was entered for ,200; no bid. ROR 1IENSLEY ra -ed in closest early pursuit, but tired in the stretch. GOODWOOD tired in the final drive. BILL SIMMONS had no mishaps. The winner was entered for ,200; no bid. SCALLYWAG showed high speed in pacemaking. but tired in the last eighth. RlDWEISER raced well up for the entire way and finished gamely. HEDGE ROSE ran well and so did PIERRE DUMAS.
