Won easily; second and third driving. LEONIE was saved under restraint to the homestretch, where she swerved badly, but. finishing fast, drew clear and won going away. SKY gained steadily on the outside and outstayed HISSY in the closing drive. The latter ran well and saved ground at the elbow, but tired slightly. ADMIRATION, a good looker, displayed excellent speed and, tiring after setting a fust pace, probably was short. PRISCILLA and SPECTRE could never get up. Scratched — 271773Serencst. 112. LOlVOIS began slowly and raced far back, but under stout restraint until in the final half, then took the lead easily and was ridden out at the finish. GUARDIAN SAINT was always a forward contender, but tired in the final eighth. MARTIAN quit after disposing of AGON in the final turn of the field. The latter made the earlv pace. CHOICE almost lost her rider at the final jump. WHITE METAL lost his rider at the eleventh jump, PAY STREAK his at the first and POWDER PUFF bolted at the first. The latter followed the leader closely for the Inst half, but tired. RALGEK was weakly ridden. LICKY GEORGE was under pressure all the way and could never get up. SINAI showed speed, but quit in the final quarter. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. SUN GOD gradually improved his position until in the final eighth, where he was compelled to be taken up. WOODWARD. away poorly, closed a big gap and, making a wide turn when entering the homestretch, was also forced to be taken up at the eighth post. KILLDEE slipped through next to the rail and made up ground, but tired finally. TOM McTAGGAKT was forced wide at the elbow and finished with a belated rush. FUIENDI.ESS showed sliced, but tired under punishment. PHILIPPIC is an extra good looker and will improve. ROYAL WHIT. NASHVILLE and BUCHANAN BRADY ran green.
