QUITE AN UNLUCKY YOUNG COLT. The Brighton Stables big brown two-year-old colt. Crack o Day, by Peep oDay Rig Goose, was n good racing prospect early in the spring, but ; since then lie has had some bad luck. First lie ! bucked his shins and was laid up in consequence. Then the cough struck trainer Odoms stable and I this colts case was about the worst of all. When i he recovered from the cough, he was put to work : once more, but by the time lie could be galloped I smartly, his shins were bucked again. His shins i are all right now, but it has become necessary to punch-fire hioi for a small splint.
