NEW OFFICIALS ELECTED AT NEW ORLEANS. New Orleans, La., July 12. Dr. C. A. McDair-mid, one of the best-known of New Orleans business men, has been elected president of the Business Mens Racing Association. The board of directors of the association announced its selection of new officers today. Dr. McDairmid succeeds I. B. Rennyson, but Mr. Ren-nyson retains his active interest in the conduct of the association, since he has been elected manager for the coming year. Robert S. Eddy, Jr., is the new secretary-treasurer of the body. Dr. McDairmid said: "I am going to see that there will lie no cause for legitimate complaint from any source. The race meetings here must be one hundred per cent correct, honorable ami clean."
