MORE DURYEA YEARLINGS FROM FRANCE. Charles F. Hill has arranged with the Powers-Hunter Company to sell another consignment of French-bred yearlings, property of Clarence 11. Mackay, from the Haras de Fresnay, Normandy, France, at Saratoga on Saturday, August 12. These yearlings left France on July 1, and were to be shipped from London on or before July S. They can be seen at Saratoga after July 20. The initial sale of yearlings from Mr. Mackays French breeding farm, held at Durlands on tin night of December 23. 1015. under the management of Mr. Hill, the Powers-Hunter Company conducting the vendue, was eminently successful, the prices secured for these horses bordering on the sensational. The consignment included thirteen yearlings and two other horses and realized a total of 0,000, or an average of ,333 per head. The strong demand for high-class yearlings seems to presage another record-breaking sale when the present crop of yearlings from Haras de Fresnay is offered to the public.
