WINS DESPITE POOR START REDLAND SHOWS QUITE A FLIGHT OF SPEED IN TIJUANA FEATURE. Although Far Back in Early Part of the Race, He Easily leads Others to the Wire Ada Anne Well Backed. Tijuana, Mox., December C. Redland, practically left at the post, ran around the other horses today to beat a fair band in the Cholas Selling Handicap. Executor and Mabel Dulweber ran each other into exhaustion in the first part of the race and got no part of the money. Redland had drifted far back in the betting, yet he not only won, but ran the mile in 1:39, and practically was under restraint during the last quarter. William Walker won a race when Ada Anne, heavily backed was a winner, in the third race. Walkers Negro apprentice, Casey, rode a good race on the mare. W. W. Finn, the western promoter of racing, is a daily visitor at the track. Finn believes he will stage a meeting in the northwest next summer. Jockey Me tea If was an arrival today. He has been visiting his home in Napa, Cal., for .several weeks and is now ready to take his place in the saddle at the Tijuana track. Eddie Mai tin will probably make hin reappearance in the saddle tomorrow after a prolonged layoff.
