NEXT YEARS MIDDLE PARK PLATE. A number of this seasons highest-priced yearlings are included in the entry for next years Middle Park Plate. Sir. J. Sanford, the American owner, who races on the best lines, has naturally entered Homage, the filly by Spearmint Voreration II. dam of Oraganour, Glorvina II., for which he gave the top-price of 4.000 guineas, at the sale of S-nr Mark Sykess yearlings. She is also in the Exeter Stakes in the First July week and the Cheveley Park Stakes at the Second October. Mr. Garland has nominated his 3,000 guineas yearling, Somme Kiss, by Sunstar Stolen Kiss, in the "Middle Park," and Lord Anglesey has put in his colt. White Nile, by the White Knight Sluice a good name this, for which he gave 2,100 guineas. Sir W. J. Tatem has entered five, inclusive of his 2,000 guineas purchase. Sky Rocket by Sunstar Maid of the Mist, and the colt by Royal Realm Lady Lightfoot, for. which he paid 1,500 guineas at the sale of the National Stud yearlings. Jack Point, by Swynford Popinjay, which cost Mr. A. Black 1,000 guineas at the sale of Major Waldorf Astors yearlings at which Sir W. J. Tatem bought Sky Rocket is likewise nominated.
