.HEAVY TRACK RACING AT HAVANA. Havana, Cuba, December 6. A crowd of generous proportions, welcomed the thoroughbred back to Cuba at -Oriental Part today. The track was heavy from a recent coat; of top soil, but the finishes were close and exciting. . The surprise of the day was the defeat of J. J. Llllis in the handicap by Liberator. Kleeger lost ground at the head of the stretch by coming wide in search of a, good track, and could not overcome the handicap;- The weather was perfect and it appears that Oriental Park is in for a gala season. S. W. Taylor of New York, who is here in the interest of American exhibitors at the big horse sliow in February.- and general .manager W. C. Edwards of the Metropolitan Jockey Club, were iintereste I spectators.
