WALL STREET, away slowlv. was hard ridden early to get to the leaders, but worked his way up on the outside and easily drew away from MOONSTONE in the last sixteenth. MOONSTONE raced STUBBORN into defeat, but tired near the end and just lasted long enough to outgame MONCREIF for second place. The litter dropped back in the first sixteenth, but finished fast. RIVER KING worked his way up on the outside and finished gamely. KING BOX was under stout restraint for the first three-quarters, but tired in the stretch.
