ORIENTAL PAKK FINISHES SEVERAL OF YESTERDAYS RACES ONLY DECIDED BY THE SMALLEST MARGINS. Muzanti and Miss Genevieve First by Inches — Jockey Taplin Draws a Ten Days Suspension for Rough Riding. Havana, Cuba, January 11. — The racing at Oriental Park this afternoon was marked by some particularly close finishes. Muzanti and .Miss Genevieve both won their races by the smallest of margins. Muzanti just lasted long enough to win. while Miss Genevieve came from behind and got up in the final stride. Apprentice R. C. Watts had tile mounts on Muzanti and Miss Genevieve and put up particularly strong finishes on both. Jockey Taplin was suspended for ten days for his rough riding in the fourth race yesterday. Among todays arrivals were Dr. H. Murray, the proprietor of the Fen Cader Stock Farm in Newark, Delaware; Sheriff Morgan of Cecil County, Maryland, and Harry Harney, of Chester. Ia. A young brother of jockey Dominick suffered concussion of the brain as the result of a fall while riding a pony through the streets of Marianao yesterday. J. W. Pangle has disposed of the plater Tinkle Hell to J. J. Russell at private sale.
