FAVORITES FARE BADLY AT TIJUANA. Form Players Meet With Reverses — San Diego Business Mens Handicap Sunday. Tijuana, Max., January 11. — Bingen quickly rushed to the front, then fell back, but came on again to win the feature race* on the card today. King Dick, the favorite, did not get away any too vU and his efforts to get up told on him. Mike was close up all the way and finisiied a game second while Cruees was third. The favorites ran disappointingly and the form players had a rough time of it today. Quick ran a good thr;-e-quartcrs to win the third race from General. Caro Nome had a lot of speed on the bald track and proved an easy winner of the second race. OHrien stole a lead with Har-barita in the first race, which had enough left to withstand a challenge in the stretch by Prince Conrad. G. Alexandra claimed Caro Nome out of the second race, while Conway Coburn claimed Quick out of the third. Although the weather has been excellent for the past few days, the clouds hovering about today made many fear that a change in conditions might prevail for the running of the San Diego Business Mens Handicap on Sunday. The stake has a value of .,500.
