OMAR KHAYYAM WILL BE SOLD. Kentucky Derby Winner and Twelve Other Johnson and Billings Horses to be Disposed of at Auction. New York. May It!. —Messrs. Johnson and Hillings, owners of the Derby winner. Omar Khayyam and about twelve other home-bred and imported horses will sell the entire stable on June 2 at Belmont Park without reserve by the Fasig-Tiptou Company. Oovernmeiit matters in which both Mr. Johnson and Mr. Billing are interested will demand all their attention. Neither will be at leisure to witness the raring this year. The sab-does not infer that either owner will desert the turf. On the contrary Mr. Johnson has six yearlings at Price Hcadleys Farm in Kentucky, which will be taken to Saratoga in June and educated for racing next year. Mr. Johnson also has his stallion. Cock O Th Walk, and nineteen broodmai.-s in Kentucky, which he will keep for breeding puriM.sos. Neither Mr. Johnson or Mr. Billings will bid in any of the horses offered for sale. "I shall miss racing and its pleasant associates this year," said Mr. Johnson, "but my business and Government affairs demand immediate and constant attention. I dont think I can spend even one day at the races."
