FAMOUS SCEPTRE TO BE SOLD. The irreparable injury to a great industry that even a temporary suspension of racing activities may produce has an illustration in the advertisements now apiM-aring of bloodstock sales in England. One band comprises the entire breeding stud of James Mtis-ker, consisting of 2ol covered mares and fillies, with their-foals, seventy-four yearlings and eight stallions. The entire stud of the Duke of Wostmin ster is also to be disposed of without reserve in July. Of Mr. Muskers band, the famous Sceptre and her foal, six yearling colts and six yearling fillies will be sold for the benefit of the Red Cross Society.
