WHITNEY MARES ARRIVE IN KENTUCKY. Lexington, Ky., June 30. Twenty broodmares the first shipment since Harry Payne Whitney bought , a portion of Elmeiulorf Farm, on which to establish a stud here, have arrived here in charge of "John Miller. Other shipments are expected, to follow in the near future. Mr. Whitney already has Peter Pan and twenty-three mares at. KLtnen-Uorf in charge of C. H. Berryman.
